This scheme protects your money (as a tenant or landlord) in the unlikely event that we, the lettings agent, enter administration. It also protects against theft or misappropriation, and became a legal requirement in 2019.
The Property Ombudsman Membership Number: 01459
As of 1 October 2014, lettings agents are required to join an independent, government-approved redress scheme to resolve disputes between consumers and agents. The Property Ombudsman has been doing just that for 27 years, and its service is free and impartial.

Mandated in The Housing Act 2004, tenants’ deposits must be protected within 14 days by a government-approved scheme. We are currently a member of the Deposit Protection Service, and have been since it began operating in April 2007.
